Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Kirik graduated with honors from the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Marmara University Faculty of Communication in 2008.
In 2009, he commenced his academic career as a Research Assistant in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Marmara University Faculty of Communication. In 2010, he completed his master’s thesis titled “IP Television Broadcast Technology.” In the same year, he began his doctoral studies in the Department of Radio and Television at Marmara University.
In 2013, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled “Transformation from Television to the Internet in Turkey within the Framework of the New Media Era and the Position of Youth in Social Sharing Networks” and became an Assistant Professor.
Ali Murat Kirik has been working as a Professor in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Marmara University Faculty of Communication. He teaches courses on the Systematics of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, Web 3.0, Metaverse, and NFT Technology. Additionally, he writes columns on information technology and the digital world and conducts interviews in the media sector in this field.
